Distribution Network Expansion Analysis Using Branching Optical Distribution Point (ODP) and Fiber Optic Attenuation (FO) Methods

Background : Data access using copper is considered slower than Fiber Optic networks, which encourages many customers who switch to Optic.
 Objective This study aims analyze the installation of networks System Software in new areas and attenuation Link power budget.
 Method The method used this PPDIOO Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, Optimize.
 Results Optical Power Meter (OPM) simulation on ODP Opti produces a value receiving (Pr) -19.48 dBm (as sample) for calculation results Budget (PLB) total -20.40 while Measurement -19.89 sample).
 Conclusion measurements have similarities, namely if distance between Distribution Cabinet (ODC) Point (ODP) greater, greater or attenuation.
